The team who helped open the doors

It Takes a Village

When I left an 80,000-person company - where I had loved collaboration, leadership, and the energy of building things with a team—I knew one thing for sure: I couldn’t create Happy on Main alone. I wanted to build something new, but still rooted in community, connection, and a deep sense of “we.”

And so, I surrounded myself with people who believed in this dream from the beginning - friends, family, and advocates who rolled up their sleeves, lent their time, and poured their hearts into every detail. The growing team behind Happy on Main is much bigger than what you’ll see here. It includes artists, builders, new associates, advocates, and cheerleaders.

But these are the women who helped bring an idea into an opening. They will forever have a special piece of the heart at 81 Main Street.

Ashley Silverman

Ashley is Concord born and raised - and a powerhouse mom of three - who brings boundless energy, creativity, and heart to Happy on Main.

Ashley has a rare gift for making everything look effortless, even when juggling more roles than most of us can count. From crafting engaging content to keeping both the business and our lives running smoothly, Ashley did it all with authenticity, humor, and heart.

With deep roots in this town, she knew how to connect the mission to the people who matter most - our neighbors, our friends, and the families who make Concord home.

Ashley is so much more than my cousin - she’s the kind of friend who turns chaos into calm, and I am so grateful to her.

Kelly Donovan

Kelly is a Concord native who balances many roles with effortless grace - most importantly mom to sweet baby Wilder.

Kelly has one of the sharpest eyes for design and detail- and she helped to bring beauty, process and purpose to the the wild ride of opening a new business - all the while having a newborn and learning life as a new mom.

Kelly's heart is in every detail, and she brings people together in a way that turns everyday moments into joyful celebrations.

She lifted my spirits and vision of Happy on Main - she saw the space with me when it was bare, tired and a crazy idea. She believed in the dream and brought energy and order in the early months of Happy on Main.

I’m so lucky she is my cousin, friend and a special part of my heart. I look forward to being that support and love for her as she has me.

Kaity + Katharine | Founder Fives

Kaity and Katharine of Founder Fives were instrumental in the launch of Happy on Main. From brand clarity to marketing plans, my dreams and reality of creating a community based retail experience - they both got it from the very beginning.

Their thoughtful approach, sharp instincts, and heart-forward guidance left their mark on this business and on me personally. I met them through many mutual friends - including my and their sister - and I now count myself lucky to call them not only collaborators but friends.

Everyone they meet walks away better for it. I know I have.
